BERT EIRO
Bert Eiro is a real estate professional that was born and raised in the north shore area of Boston. He received his B.S. from UMASS Amherst with a focus on Environmental Science and a minor in Economics. He brings 18 years of real estate experience and over 23 years of corporate experience to the Port Unity team.
His interest in real estate was sparked in 2003 when he started a real estate investment group of like-minded co-workers wanting to perform market research, identify different investment types and analyze and find deals. This led to his first investment in a new construction single-family rental in 2005 and eventually grew into owning multiple multi-family rentals as the sole owner of Santa Cruz Realty, LLC. He acquired additional experience in rehabbing multiple properties as co-owner of Triarchy Development, LLC.
His deep corporate experience in pharmaceuticals development is primarily in business operations, project management, finance, vendor management and systems. This broad business expertise translates nicely to real estate and therefore is leveraged as Port Unity improves their syndication systems and effectively manages and scales operations.
